Scaled back Covid relief proposal would help small businesses and foster economic recovery

Fairfax, Va.— Americans for Limited Government President Rick Manning today issued the following statement on a bipartisan proposal to provide Covid economic relief:

“The compromise proposal on Covid economic relief legislation appears to be a promising framework that will ensure that the state-led lockdowns will not have another disastrous effect on small businesses by reupping the Paycheck Protection Program by $288 billion, and more broadly the economy as a whole by supporting a more rapid recovery in 2021. We look forward to seeing all of the details as the Senate, House and White House all work towards final passage.”

Congress delists non-transparent Chinese companies from U.S. exchanges

Now Labor Department must act

Fairfax, Va.—Americans for Limited Government President Rick Manning today issued the following statement praising Congress for unanimously voting for legislation that delists non-transparent, unaudited Chinese companies from U.S. stock exchanges:

“It is incredible news that the House has followed the lead of the U.S. Senate to unanimously make law that will delist any non-transparent, unaudited Chinese company from U.S. stock exchanges. This will undo the sweetheart deal by Joe Biden with Chinese President Xi Zinping that resulted in the 2013 Memorandum of Understanding by the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board overseen by the SEC, allowing 156 Chinese companies with market caps of $1.2 trillion to be listed on U.S. exchanges. Now that Congress has done its job, once President Trump signs this bill into law, it will be up to the federal government to implement it, including and especially Labor Department Secretary Eugene Scalia, to ensure that U.S. retirement portfolios are shielded from non-transparent, slave-holding Chinese companies that will now be delisted in the U.S. Many of these companies use child and slave labor in concentration camps. And if Chinese investments are not suitable for U.S. exchanges, then they are not suitable for American retirement portfolios either under ERISA. We thank both the House and Senate for its bold action, and President Trump for his leadership and determination to challenge China that made this law possible in the first place.”

Georgia signature verification essential to legitimacy of election

Nov. 30, 2020, Fairfax, Va.–Americans for Limited Government President Rick Manning today issued the following statement urging the Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger to complete signature verification of absentee mail-in ballots in accordance with Georgia state law:

“Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger has an affirmative responsibility to ensure that the Georgia election results reflect the actual legal votes cast in Georgia for the presidential race. There is no way to certify the results  without allowing signature verification on mail-in absentee ballots in accordance with state law. In March, Raffensperger’s office entered into a consent decree that effectively nullified the ability to determine fraudulently filed mail-in ballots. Given the massive increase of mail-in ballots from 2020 compared to 2016, it is reasonable for the Georgia government to follow the written law in order to make certain that the Covid emergency was not used as a pretense for voter fraud. While we recognize that the consent decree was agreed to under stressful times, it is clear that the interest of the people of the state of Georgia demand signature verification with 100 percent scrutiny from both political parties to put concerns about the election’s outcome to rest.”

Pebble Mine decision delivers devastating blow to domestic rare earth metal development

Fairfax, Va. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers today denied a permit for the proposed Pebble Mine, a project that would have dramatically increased the domestic availability of a rare earth metal that is critical to our national security. Below is the reaction of Richard Manning, president of Americans for Limited Government:

“This is a devastating blow to America’s national security. The Pebble Mine would have dramatically increased the United States’ available supply of the element rhenium which is essential for the manufacture of aircraft engines.

“If you cannot mine the barren tundra of Alaska, you cannot mine anywhere in America. The U.S. government traded this property to the state in exchange for more pristine property used to create Lake Clark National Park with full knowledge that it would be zoned for mining by the Alaskan government. The precedent set by this decision will do major harm to the Trump administration priority of developing domestic rare earth metal resources and makes us more reliant on the Communist Chinese government for rare earth minerals essential to our national defense.

“Finally, this sends a clear message to investors that the U.S. is off limits to new mining.”

Reap what you sow, Gov. Cuomo

Fairfax, Va. – It is payback time for New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo, who declared his state a sanctuary state and refused to obey federal immigration laws. Now many New York sheriffs are refusing to enforce his draconian Covid edicts.  Americans for Limited Government President Rick Manning issued the following statement in reaction to these acts of civil disobedience:

“New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s sudden discovery that civil disobedience works both ways as local sheriffs are choosing not to enforce his draconian economic shutdown edicts is refreshing to Americans who watched in dismay as Cuomo and other far-left mayors and governors engaged in harboring illegal aliens from deportation.

“Cuomo and California Gov. Gavin Newsom, along with cities like San Francisco, Seattle and Portland, have set the predicate that local and state jurisdictions don’t have to follow federal law. In Seattle and Portland, they have refused to provide citizens with the protections promised by state law. Now that the shoe is on the other foot, with some localities and their citizens refusing to enforce or comply with emergency shutdown orders that destroy communities economically, endanger the mental health of their citizens and deny their children the opportunity to get a quality public education in defiance of federal health official recommendations, perhaps they understand that their power only extends as far as the people’s willingness to comply.  Mandates that have not been put through and legitimized by the legislative process are subject to refusal by those who would see their property rights and health jeopardized by them.

“As the Bible says, you reap what you sow, and for those elected officials who preached disobedience to federal enforcement of one of their basic constitutional responsibilities, they are now discovering the ugly truth that without the consent of the governed, they are like the emperor with no clothes, just foolish, vain, little potentates, naked for the world to see.”

Overt fraud now commonplace and accepted!

Pennsylvania Needs to demand independent election audit

Fairfax, Va – Americans for Limited Government President Rick Manning issued the following statement today in reaction to the Pennsylvania Secretary of State certifying the 2020 presidential election results in the state:

“It comes as no surprise that the Democrat who oversaw the Pennsylvania election, one of the most fraud-filled elections in American history, certified the results of that fraud without allowing the court cases to be adjudicated.  It is appalling that overt fraud has become common place and accepted in certain circles, but the American people deserve and demand that only legally cast votes be counted and that they be counted accurately.  The Commonwealth’s state legislature should immediately perform an independent election audit to ensure that Pennsylvania’s electoral votes are cast for the person who actually won the election.”  Electionauditnow.org

Does Joe Biden support Operation Warp Speed?

Time for Democrats to follow the science

Nov. 23, 2020, Fairfax, Va.—Americans for Limited Government President Rick Manning today issued the following statement urging former Vice President Joe Biden to urge Democratic blue states to get behind the vaccine:

“When is Joe Biden going to get on board with the vaccine and join President Trump in pushing the ground breaking Operation Warp Speed in bringing vaccines to market much quicker than anybody thought was possible, and urge the FDA for the emergency use authorization? Now is the time when Joe Biden should be reaching out to radical Never Trumpers like Gov. Andrew Cuomo and demand that they not block access to the Covid vaccine for their constituents. Moreover, how many New Yorkers and other Americans have to die before these grandstanding governors get behind the vaccine? One can bet that Cuomo and the others will become much more enthusiastic if Biden is sworn in, because then they can credit Biden with providing a safe vaccine, all the while playing politics with the lives of their constituents. Rather than impede the people from getting a potentially life-saving vaccine, while at the same time imposing emergency economic shutdown orders, it is time for Democrat elected officials to unite behind the science that has already brought us two and potentially three highly effective vaccines.”

ALG Releases Video Showing Illegal Ballot Harvesting in Philly

Video shot by concerned citizen  shows woman repeatedly stuffing ballot box in violation of Pennsylvania law

Fairfax, Va. – Americans for Limited Government (ALG), one of the nation’s leading conservative activist organizations, today released a real-time video showing a woman violating Pennsylvania’s law against ballot harvesting by repeatedly stuffing numerous ballots into an inner-city Philadelphia mail-in ballot collection box.

The video was provided to ALG by a concerned citizen in response to the organization’s Voter Fraud Program now underway in Milwaukee, Detroit, Atlanta, and Philadelphia. The program is offering a $10,000 reward to any resident of those cities who provides “information that leads to the arrest and conviction of voter fraud in the 2020 election.”

The stunning video – seen in full below — was shot at the Election Office ballot box location on Chew Avenue:

In the revealing video, covertly shot on a cell phone camera, an unidentified woman is seen dropping five ballots into the ballot collection box, while holding at least three more in her hands. The action violates Pennsylvania law establishing that only a voter can mail their ballot or return it in person, unless they have a disability and officially designate a single individual to do it for them.

On Thursday, September 17, in the case of Crossey v. Boockvar, the Pennsylvania Supreme Court reaffirmed Pennsylvania’s law against ballot harvesting by rejecting a demand that county election boards allow third parties to deliver ballots for other people.

The woman captured in the vigilant citizen’s video is clearly violating Pennsylvania’s law against ballot harvesting,” said ALG President Richard Manning, “And the state of Pennsylvania, by not enforcing its own law is an accomplice to this crime. The media keeps calling for evidence of voter fraud. Well, here it is, in living color. Now, let’s see if it appears on the network news.”

Shame on CBS News

Americans want ‘real’ news

Fairfax, Va – Americans for Limited Government President Rick Manning issued the following statement in response to the most recent fake news story from CBS News.

“CBS News should be ashamed of themselves for their demonstrably false story about the President’s legal team dropping their lawsuit on the certification of the Wayne County, Michigan election results.  The truth is that Wayne County agreed to decertify their results, which is exactly what the Trump lawyers sought. So, there was no reason to continue with the lawsuit.

“The inability of Walter Cronkite’s old network to come anywhere near the truth in their reporting is why legacy media is dying.  Americans want real news, not agenda driven blog sites hiding behind formerly distinguished banners and this report validates everything that Mayor Rudy Guiliani said about the media’s false reporting of the legal battle trying to ensure that only legally cast ballots are counted.

ALG Voter Fraud Video: ‘We Can Back Date’ Mail-In Ballot Applications

In first voter fraud video released by ALG, poll worker allows voter to file mail-in ballot application three days after deadline

Fairfax, Va. – Americans for Limited Government (ALG), one of the nation’s leading conservative activist organizations, today released a first real-time voter fraud video, this one showing a poll worker openly admitting that he would illegally back date a mail-in ballot a full three days after the application date had passed.

The video was provided to ALG by a concerned citizen in response to the organization’s Voter Fraud Program now underway in Milwaukee, Detroit, Atlanta, and Philadelphia. The program is offering a $10,000 reward any resident of four cities who provides “Information that leads to the arrest and conviction of voter fraud in the 2020.”

The secretly recorded video – seen in full below — was shot at Philadelphia’s Allen Lock School polling place on October 31, 2020, three days after the mail-in ballot application deadline:

In the revealing video, a voter is seen entering the Lock School polling place and saying she needed a mail-in ballot application, despite the fact that the deadline had passed. The poll worker responds that since “everyone” had problems with the deadline, they were ignoring it, adding “We are able to issue it [a mail-in ballot application] because we can back date it.”

“This is proof positive that the entire mail-in ballot process was deliberately corrupted,” said ALG President Richard Manning. “Notice that the poll worker did not say he was making an exception for the voter requesting the ballot. He explicitly said, ‘we can back date it’ for ‘everyone.’ In short, the poll worker openly admits to voter fraud.”
