ALG in Arizona Fighting for Election Integrity

Government only has legitimacy when it is formed through the consent of the governed.

Fairfax, Va. – Americans for Limited Government President Rick Manning today joined more than two dozen Members and Members-Elect of the Arizona Legislature in the courtyard of the State Capitol demanding election integrity.  Manning issued the following statement:

“I am honored to be joining more than twenty Arizona state legislators who are fighting to ensure that the state’s voters are represented in the Electoral College by electors supporting the presidential candidate who won the race.  With Maricopa County in need of a full, honest audit, Gov. Ducey should take steps to delay the naming of electors until the outcome is absolutely certain. Americans should applaud these courageous legislators who are fighting to ensure that only legal votes were counted correctly.  The government only has legitimacy when it is formed through the consent of the governed.  I am proud to stand with them today.

I call on every American who wants free and fair elections in the future, to join with these Arizona lawmakers in demanding a full, honest election audit.”
