“As we head into this Labor Day weekend, Americans should count their blessings at the nation’s unprecedented levels of low unemployment near 50-year lows. In fact, about as few Americans were unemployed in July 2019 as in July 1999, even though there are almost 24 million more people in the workforce today. Happy Labor Day, America.”
