March 6, 2019, Fairfax, Va.—Americans for Limited Government President Rick Manning today issued the following statement blasting the House of Representatives for not yet scheduling a vote on a resolution condemning anti-Semitism:
“It is shameful that House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer has not scheduled a vote in the House of Representatives rebuking the on-going anti-Semitism demonstrated by Democrat Representative Ilhan Omar. It is even more astounding that Omar continues to hold her seat on the House Foreign Affairs Committee. Both political parties used to be committed to the idea of ‘never again’ when it comes to anti-Jewish hate, but apparently the House Democrats, led by Hoyer, fail to realize that never means never.”
