Oct. 17, 2016, Fairfax, Va.—Americans for Limited Government President Rick Manning today issued the following statement in response to ludicrous claims that Donald Trump is somehow calling for revolution by questioning the continued voter fraud of dead people and non-citizens voting:
“The ludicrous claims by Hillary Clinton and her White House surrogate against Donald Trump’s rhetorically questioning whether the system and hence the election is rigged are ironic given that Wikileaks clearly showed that Bernie Sanders never had a chance when facing the Hillary machine in charge of the Democratic Party.
“What is shocking is that Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama are guilty of engaging in the most dangerous rhetoric imaginable, making the case that Vladimir Putin is somehow stealing the election against a real backdrop of bringing the U.S. to the brink of war with Russia over Syria. I’m getting sick of Hillary Clinton’s sins being cast on the Republican nominee. Alleging Russia is stealing the election while bringing the country to the brink of war is far more dangerous than issuing legitimate concerns about dead people and non-citizens voting.
“The media is preposterously claiming Trump is somehow creating a predicate for armed revolution by seeking an honest voter fraud free election. Yet, it is the predicate being created by Clinton and Obama — claims of a supposed Russian intervention via election espionage — which are intended to attack the legitimacy of a Trump victory. What are they going to do when he wins, overturn the election?
“Obama and Clinton are playing brinksmanship with nuclear potential while threatening to delegitimize the election’s outcome, all the while covering up and discrediting Wikileaks releases that show real, high-level corruption by the Clintons and the utter contempt that the Democratic nominee has for the rule of law and the American people. It is irredeemably irresponsible and yes, dangerous. The Wikileaks releases showing widespread collusion of the media with Clinton and her operatives has powerfully demonstrated that the political playing field is, in fact, heavily tilted against a Trump win. When Google and Facebook’s strong preference for Clinton are added, it is fair to question whether Trump’s message will even be allowed to reach the electorate while the country quietly falls under one-party rule.
“Fortunately the American people are seeing through these media manipulators and Trump remains in a dead heat as they reject the one-party apparatus that desires nothing more than retaining its power. The people are ignoring the noise and going around the media and Internet filters that have collapsed.”
