“U.S. Rep. Jim Jordan is uniquely qualified to be Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives, and Americans for Limited Government is proud to endorse him. Jordan is a staunch defender of the Constitution and individual liberties, and has a proven ability to work with all members of the Republican conference on critical issues like censorship, surveillance and the weaponization of government, and the overall abuse of power of the executive branch. This is not a conservative versus liberal fight, it is a fight for the future of America, and whether the House will be an effective check against President Biden. It is essential that the next Speaker have a deep understanding of how the executive branch has grown into a political enforcement arm in order to be able to use the Article One powers to legislate and the power of the purse to deconstruct the administrative state. There are a number of quality candidates, but Jim Jordan stands alone in the ability to create a laser focus on the three issues that should bring Republicans together: Biden, the budget and the border.”
